A Tribute To Mr. Taylor -- Saturday, May 18th

Look back and enjoy the unique environmental contributions of Mr. R. William Taylor

The tribute will take place during the Independence Land Lab Spring Open House at the Independence Land Lab and Board of Education located at the end of Tulip Trail off Stone Road. "Tribute to Taylor" is Sponsored by the IHS Biology Society. This is a FREE and Fun outdoor event and educational open house at the rustic, but beautiful land lab facilities. The day will feature scenic hikes, onsite netting and identification of pond critters, checking snake boards, and an open house at the "nature classroom".

This is a FREE event, Saturday, May 18th
Open House hours are Noon-3:30pm
"Tribute to Taylor" at 1:00pm; Meet near the memorial rock at the Land Lab entrance

Mr. Taylor spent 39 years as the advisor of the IRS Biology Society. Numerous photos from Biology Society, Photo Club, student trips and much more will be displayed during the open house.

  • Meet the staff (Mr. Maretka and students ofIHS Biology Society)
